excitement is work

"Stupidity is repetition,
repeating others.
It is cheap,
cheap because you need not learn.
Learning is arduous.
It needs guts to learn.
Learning means
one has to be humble.
Learning means
one has to be ready
to drop the old,
one has to be constantly ready
to accept the new."
- Osho

I'm ready to learn.

To stay stuck only believing what

I already know

is not interesting.

It doesn't excite me.

Yeah, I say I'm ready for the new.

Learning to walk on new legs,

learning new things,

acquiring new skills,

risking one's self in new relationships,

all sound great in theory.

In practice I'll probably kick

scream,

fight

and cry

at every pain

but I won't quit.

I'll suffer them

so that I can feel alive.

I never thought feeling enthused

about life

would take so much work,

really hard work with

lots of intention.

Ah, well.

At least the work pays off

in excitement.

Being excited about life

is frikken awesome.

It's worth a few

growing pains...

or a lot.
