My blog bi-line used to say,
"Never never never another diet!"
It no longer says that.
Why?
I am in fact on a diet.
NOT a weight loss diet,
but a diet nonetheless,
prescribed by Josh Rubin of East West Healing.
I sip on shakes that contain
raw milk
raw egg
pureed fruit
a spritz of simple syrup and
a dash of cocoa.
I stir powdered gelatin into all my beverages,
"all" being
watered down orange juice
and coffee light and sweet.
My solid foods are not very diverse.
Most of the time I can only stomach
some raw cheese
chased with sips orange juice.
When my taste buds need variety
I gravitate toward things with vinegar
(not because they're on my plan
but because I crave them)
like marinated artichoke hearts
and pickled mushrooms.
There are more things on my "diet" than I listed here, but I have odd food aversions so getting in a variety of foods is difficult.
Thanks, gastric bypass.
I log my progress.
My energy is improving from eating this way.
The only important thing is that I get well.
Eating my EastWest Healing way is going to get me there.
