I'm interested in courage

My show The Walking Dead resumes tonight after almost a year of waiting.

I've never been a fan of zombies but this show...this show.

I love tales of courage in desperate situations.

And Rick Grimes?

He's one of those heroes who always does (or tries to do) the right thing, just like a fictional character.

Real life people? I've met a few in my lifetime. I'm fortunate to have a few incredible close friends whom I can count on to do right ...or do right by me anyway.

I prayed so hard in church tonight (we have evening Sunday Mass at one of my schools just in time for the kids to return to campus after the weekend).

I've had an emotional week.

Emotional, hmph.

Let me be clearer, I've been emotionally beat up this week.

And just as I was settling into the comfort of Sunday night with besties, tried and true friends, the luxury of not having to doubt or watch my back, something happened.

I may, MAY, be over reacting.

I may be getting unnecessarily emotional about it. It's so much easier to get emotional over something "smallish" than the big things that kicked my ass this week,

but that something really hurt my feelings.

So, I went to church and prayed, hard.

I sat there crying before Jesus pretty much the whole time.

I tried to clear my head so I could hear Spirit speaking to me, telling me what to do.

Spirit said,

"If __ is hurting you, tell them.

Don't assume that they're trying to hurt you.

They probably have no idea how hurt you are

by their actions.

Express your feelings calmly and clearly.

Then detach from the outcome."

I think Spirit has been reading Louise Hay...lol.

Ok, I've suffered enough.

Time for WALKERS!!

Am grateful to be one of them :-)

Training vs Draining.

I don't want a sadist.

I want a genius.

Too bad Josh is on the west coast.
